Recorded live at the 2003 Etonosur Music Festival "Flamenco Artists of the XXI Century” features three groups who are expanding the language of flamenco to new frontiers. Jorge Prado, Tino Di Geraldo & Carles Benavent. have played with the legendary Paco de Lucia and bring their flute/sax, bass and drums sound to flamenco.

David Pena “Dorantes” comes from a family of famous flamenco musicians. Jos Valencia’s vocals are traditonal and are supported by Dorantes’ ensemble of string trio, winds, bass, percussion, drums and Dorantes’ piano bring a lyric virtuosity to flamenco.

Diego Carrasco is closest to tradition, but his pure enjoyment in performance brings an element of fun, a party, as it were. Carrasco has created an original song style based on the traditional Andalusian song style. His band of vocalists, guitar, bass and percussion brings a new slant to flamenco.
